Genesis

I’m guessing you would like to know who the girl is behind the blog. I could go through the typical laundry list of things about myself (favorite food, worst fear, blah blah blah...) but the only way you will truly get to know who I am is by reading what I have to say. I could never possibly sum up all that God has made me to be on a bullet pointed list, however, because I believe my readers deserve to know certain things about me before they become committed readers, I will provide the bullet pointed list :)
My parentals named me Stephanie, so I guess that’s what I’m going by.
I was born December 8th, 1990 and was reborn April 21st, 2011. God is good.
I am full blooded Greek, and no, not the sorority kind, the “Opa!” kind. No we are not extinct and we don’t worship Athena (oh the questions of mankind), And yes I speak Greek.
I am in University majoring in Real Estate.
I am in an amazing relationship with the love of my life, Jesus Christ. Have you met Him? He’s a King.
Hello Kitty and Starbucks obsessed
I love the 90’s
R&B, Soul, & Jazz is the music of my heart.
Singing and dancing definitely keep the heavy times of my life light.
Italian Food. Enough said.
Bobba Tea= NOM
I’m always about trying new things
Fashion is a big part of my life. It allows me to be creative in my world where I don’t really get a chance to be. It keeps the juices on the other side of my brain flowing. Liking pretty things and wanting to be pretty and feminine is just how God designed us to be, so let’s embrace that ladies! I also will be focusing on modesty in my fashion and what that means from the inside out. If you are looking for a blog that has cut and dry rules about hemlines, sleeves or no sleeves, heels or no heels, skirts vs pants, you have come to the wrong place, for Jesus said “ God's kingdom isn't a matter of what you put in your stomach, for goodness' sake. It's what God does with your life as he sets it right, puts it together, and completes it with joy. Your task is to single-mindedly serve Christ. Do that and you'll kill two birds with one stone: pleasing the God above you and proving your worth to the people around you.” -Romans 14:17 (MSG)
I will share different convictions going on in my heart and my walk with God. My faith is what I hope the most to share with you all, and if you get some fashion/beauty advice in the mean time, well hey, you killed 2 birds with 1 stone :)
One of my favorite things to do is to bake cupcakes from scratch. What is better than baking some red velvet cupcakes while listening to some Jazz/R&B on the radio and dancing around in your kitchen? I would love to one day open up a cupcake shop, but that dream will have to wait for now. Food will also be another aspect of this blog! Im so excited to cook for you all! Too bad mostly my roommates and church family will probably be the only ones to actually taste what I make. Sorry guys :(
I am a world traveler; Cyprus, Greece, Amsterdam, Germany, England, Nigeria, France, and I feel like I have been to Saudi Arabia (my mom says I haven’t), but that may have just been in a dream or I possibly have some “Narnia” type closet in my house, because the memories are just vivid. Lol. But regardless, travel and mini road trips will be all up on the blog!
As well as everything else, I will be sharing day to day things and get pretty open with you all. I think that is only fair since if you take the time to read. I appreciate that so much.
This blog is going to serve many purposes but above all else I hope it brings glory to God and encourages women all over, even if we don’t see eye to eye on the same things. This blog is not to display how “great” of a Christian I am (Romans 3:23) and is not to ever become legalistic. I hope this blog brings light in your life. I will be sharing with you my story that God is writing for me in all aspects of my life and celebrating being the woman that He made.

PS: This blog is still a work in progress so some esthetics will be changed soon.... Please be patient with me :)
