Who's Your Daddy Pt. II

So I know I was supposed to do Pt. II a few days ago... Well here it is.

3) Justice- God is Justice. As humans we think of justice as "Someone committed that crime... put 'em in jail..." "That person yelled at me... yell back..." etc.

Well this isn't God's justice. Don't believe me? Here is what God says justice is, it's doing what is right:

"This is what the Lord of Armies says 'Administer real justice and be compassionate and kind to each other. Don't oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and poor people. And don't think of doing evil to each other." -Zechariah 7:9-10

Hebrew concept of justice is to restore the injustice done in society... to make things right. 

So next time you see someone begging on the street and you're holding onto your money because you think they'll use it to buy alcohol or drugs... That's between them and God, what's between you and God is whether you do what's right.

2) God gives encouragement to His children, even when we think things aren't going well in our lives.

"But now, don't be discouraged, any of you. Do the work, for I am with you" -Haggai 2:4

He is so patient, like a loving Father who patiently teaches His kids to do something and to do it right. He gives them encouragement for the work, even though they let His home (temple) be in ruin for so long and they lived in nice houses. (Read the story of Haggai.. it's very encouraging and pretty short if you don't know what I'm talking about. 

There is so much more about our Heavenly Father that we can see in the Bible and it's soooo important to know Him if we want to be in that relationship.

One thing I will leave you all with. The Romans knew God but they still decided to rebel.
